14 November End of Year Giving By: YIS | Category: All, News

We are fortunate to have dedicated Young Investors Society teachers set an example for today’s youth and to be able to teach them lessons that will last a lifetime.
As you know, Young Investors Society is dedicated to preparing the next generation of investors. Our mission is to inspire youth to be outstanding investors–investors in companies, investors in their communities, and investors in themselves. Our goal is to give high school students the opportunity to learn the life-changing habits of saving and investing for retirement starting at a young age.
Our objective is to expand the reach of our financial literacy program to 150 schools by July 2018. Young Investors Society has worked tirelessly over the past three years to build our financial literacy program and refine our curriculum to this end.
Young Investors Society successfully piloted the financial literacy after-school club to six high schools in 2015 and added 46 additional high schools in 2016. Our program has now reached over 100 high schools across the United States and Asia, serving over 1,700 students.
We are currently at the end of our capital raise and would love your support. Our donors’ contributions have helped grow Young Investors Society into the premier financial literacy program for teens. We rely on donors and corporate support to fund our School Sponsored Clubs and our two flagship programs, the Dollar-A-Day Challenge, and Global Stock Pitch Competition.
Your support is extremely important because it offers immediate resources that are directed to current program needs and opportunities to further grow our program.
• A gift of $25.00 will sponsor the Young Investors Society program for one student.
• A gift of $50.00 will sponsor incentives for one school club.
• A gift of $100.00 will help sponsor prizes for the Global Stock Pitch Competition.
• A gift of $365.00 will sponsor a student in the Dollar-A-Day Challenge.
• A gift of $500.00 or more will help Young Investors Society provide programming, curriculum and teacher support for new high schools who are eager to begin the Young Investors Society financial literacy program.

Your donation helps us to continue to teach life-changing financial skills to the next generation of investors, like Kacey Donahue, from Franklin, Massachusetts, who states:

“Young Investors Society is amazing. It’s one of the best things I’ve done in High School. It’s one of the best things I’ve done in my life.”

On behalf of Young Investors Society, we thank you for your participation in our Young Investors Society program and hope for your end of year program support.
