Support the YIS Dollar-A-Day Challenge
Inspiring the Next Generation of Investors — One Dollar at a Time
The Dollar-A-Day Challenge is one of Young Investors Society’s most impactful programs, giving students the opportunity to begin their financial journey by saving and investing their own money. Through this challenge, students are encouraged to open a brokerage account, complete the Dollar-A-Day Personal Finance Quiz, and commit to investing as little as one dollar per day.
To support their efforts and build real-world investing habits, Young Investors Society offers a monthly scholarship match, awarding selected students with a matching contribution to their brokerage accounts.
Expanding Our Reach in 2024–2025
We’re proud to share that in the 2024–2025 school year, over 380 students earned the Dollar-A-Day Scholarship Match — more than double the number from the previous year. Each scholarship helps a student take meaningful steps toward financial independence, while reinforcing the importance of long-term investing and financial responsibility.
Since the program’s inception in 2015, we’ve awarded over $175,000 in scholarship matches thanks to the generous support of our donors.
