Young Investors Society is excited to launch the YIS x Webull Global Portfolio Competition, sponsored by Webull, giving students around the world the opportunity to build and manage a simulated investment portfolio while gaining hands-on experience with investing.

Over the course of the competition, students will make investment decisions, track their portfolios, learn from market movements, and put their financial knowledge into practice.

But this competition isn’t just about who makes the most money. Students will have opportunities to be recognized for highest risk adjusted total return, highest overall total return as well as subcategories demonstrating consistency of returns, long-term investing, and effective portfolio diversification.

Registration OPENS Sept 1st and CLOSES October 29th on the MYYIS Calendar

📅 Competition Period: November 1st, 2026 – April 30th, 2027

First Step: Students must download the Webull app on phone or desktop: https://www.webull.com/trading-platforms

Second Step: Register for a Webull Paper Trading Account using an email address or phone number. Select Paper Trade, toggle on Paper Trade in the upper right hand corner. Wait for Paper Trade to load. *This can take a couple minutes for the account to “fully open” once you click the PaperTrade toggle and go to the account tab for the first time.

This is your Webull Paper Trade Account Number that you will need to register. 

You can set Paper Trade Money to $10,000 for the competition. This will be done for the Nov. 1st start date. You are NOT allowed to re-set money at anytime during the event. This will result in an automatic disqualification. 

Third Step: Once the account is created, students will log in to the MYYIS Portal Calendar to register and pay to participate. Registration is $30.00 per person.
