Young Investors Society will launch the Finance Knowledge Bowl in January 2025!

Knowledge Bowl 

YIS students will test their personal finance and investment knowledge in this virtual Finance Competition.
The first round of the competition will take place online during the week of January 15th-22nd on Kahoot.
Students have one week to take the Finance Quiz. Students must be registered YIS Students to compete!
Students are encouraged to use first and last name when taking the Kahoot quiz. 
Kahoot Quiz is NOW CLOSED!
Students will be invited to the Finals round of the Knowledge Bowl based on their first-round score, completed courses & lessons,  participation in YIS programs & events, as well as availability to attend the finals.
The finals round will include specific questions on 3 selected companies (TBD)
The Final round will take place on Zoom on Wednesday, January 29th at 4:30 pm PST/ 7:30 pm EST.  
The final event will be live-streamed on our YouTube Channel for all to watch!

Knowledge Bowl Finals:

Description:
Read and listen to the interviews and quarterly results below on three (3) companies (TBD)
There will be approximately 15 open-ended questions about the three companies,
specifically relating to their progress and strategies.

Suggested study time on the information below should be 3-5 hours. The questions will be open
book, but will require that you are familiar with the information beforehand.

 

1st Place: $1,000 CASH PLUS Golden Ticket to pitch in the Global Stock Pitch Competition at the 2025 Global Youth Investment Summit in NYC (May 29-30th)

2nd Place: $500 CASH

3rd Place: $250 CASH
